In the first quarter of 2021, virtual pet enthusiasts in Europe engaged with their digital companions on iOS devices with notable trends in app usage. Data from Sensor Tower offers a closer look at the top five virtual pet applications' performance during this period.

Outfit7 Limited, the publisher from Slovenia, saw mixed trends for their apps. My Talking Tom 2 experienced a slight decrease in downloads from 67K to 57K and weekly active users dipped from 663K to 634K, while revenue peaked at 5.5K USD in mid-February. Similarly, My Talking Tom Friends saw a decrease in downloads from 66K to 47K and active users from 566K to 535K, with revenue fluctuating and reaching a high of 2K USD in late March.

The original My Talking Tom also showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 58K and ending the quarter at 49K. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 974K and ending at 944K, with revenue seeing a slight increase from 1.8K to 2K USD.
